the “language of shadows” is an artistic interpretation of the conversation between light and shadows that often go unheard. this show, my second at nomad, is a departure from how I normally work as well as the approach I take to my overall process. each piece is titled "conversation" with numbers following. I decided that I would title each one "conversation" as I wanted the viewer to stop for a moment with the painting and converse with the painting, themselves or others.
